up-to-date version.)
Requirements: you
must be running V2.0 of PCFarm for successful operation.
PCFarm has been
updated to the new ADHIS Data Interchange Formats (DIF's) to facilitate
transfer of data to and from your herd recording service as well as
data
from the program on your remote
data collector using Farmhand.
1. To select your download, Double click on the red arrow on the
right
2. Save to a floppy disk on
your a: drive first. Once you have successfully saved Update.exe on a
disk, click on Start, Run, type a:\Update.exe, OK and
click on the OK's as they appear and it will install onto your PCFarm

Notes:
To prevent problems where your herd recording service may not yet be
providing data in the new formats, the program is designed to continue to
accept the old formats as well as new ones.
This update also includes provision for importing data from our new hand
held data collection device designed to simplify data collection and input
to your computer. It replaces handwriting and manual entry. When the
update is installed more information on this can be found in Tools,
Farmhand. If you wish to make further enquiries on the hand held
computer please contact PCFarm on
1800 241 669
email: jim@pcfarm.net
Other modifications have been made such as ensuring the Code appears in
the events screen.
Further improvements to
PCFarm as per customer requests are in the pipeline and will be
available soon. If you have any suggestions please email jim@pcfarm.net
